Henry Bell is a UK based company based in Grantham, Nottinghamshire. Established since 1825, primarily within the agricultural industry, they have been supplying seed and fertiliser to local farmers. In the early 1980’s, Henry Bell utilised the expertise gained within the cereals and pulses trade to become one of the major suppliers of flaked cereals and pulses to the animal and pet food industry today.

Remember that good quality feeding hay and/or grass should make up the majority of your chinchillas’ diet and should be available at all times. Chinchilla’s should also be fed a small portion of Henry Bell Pellets, the occasional treat to add variety and encourage emotional enrichment. Fresh, clean water should always be available. Please talk to your vet for further information.

If you are currently feeding a muesli-style food to your chinchilla’s, you should gradually transfer them onto a hay and nugget-based feeding plan over a period of between 14 and 28 days. You can do this by gradually reducing the amount of muesli and increasing the proportion of Henry Bell Chinchilla Pellets until they have completely replaced the mix.
