Tripe is specifically the stomach of a grazing animal, which for our cold dried tripe treats is beef (cow). A cow’s digestive system is complex, as their stomachs have four chambers which systematically break down grass with digestive enzymes, gastric juices and amino acids. These enzymes, gastric juices and amino acids are very nutritious for dogs and cats as they contribute to their own digestion and well as the health of other body functions.
