A lovely looking & feeling lunge whip. It's not particularly long, but my 16 hand sport horse responded well to its length (line of vision/general visibility) whilst being lunged, when I'm holding ìt out just behind her. Unfortunately though the tip is not secure enough and the coiled black spring mechanism inside the silver tip end of the whip can easily become loose, causing the black spring coil to suddenly pop out & un-coil itself, which is a total messy headache when you're in the lunge pen, with your horse and just want the item you've purchased to be fit for use ! You then have to recoil the tiny black spring cord and push it back inside the end of the tip again, only for it to happen again, very quickly. It's also not 'telescopic', as for the life of me, with all the patience and concentration I can muster, I cannot make it shrink or extend in length. I've either been sent a damaged or faulty whip or the company that worded the sale description was incorrect - it's definitely not 'telescopic'...would like a refund, purchased within the last 30 days, so hopefully "Paw Pet" (Equine) will process my £26 refund accordingly...
Well, my 7 year old cocker spaniel just loves them and she is obviously not the only one as my local Sainsburys is forever running out of stock of them.
